CONGO

CONGO is an urban artist from Peru, currently based in Michigan. He’s been involved in graffiti and street art for over 13 years, participating in various festivals across multiple countries, including throughout the United States.

His work explores the interaction between nature and the urban environment, using vivid colors, macro realism, and bold compositions to create striking sensations. He aims to produce murals that break the visual monotony and connect emotionally with viewers by merging organic forms with the surface they inhabit.

Trained in graphic design, CONGO uses conceptual thinking to guide his pieces—each mural carries an underlying message, but he intentionally leave room for personal interpretation, allowing each viewer to connect with the artwork in their own way.
